Bel Woods is a Victorian (formerly Tasmanian) writer who enjoys contemporary literary fiction, lyrical literary fiction, and especially the exploration of female characters within both of these contexts. She is currently a WoMentoring Project mentee, under the guidance of Emma Viskic (Resurrection Bay, And Fire Came Down), and the recipient of the Writers Victoria Only Connect Digital Writer Residency for Carers: Regional and Rural Writers for 2019. Her writing achievements include publications in Westerly, page seventeenVine Leaves, Verandah, and The Victorian Writer, among others.
